How to Use the Raid Timeline Calculator
Key Parameters
- Floors Cleared: How many savage floors you clear per week (1-4).
- Loot Per Floor: Standard is 2 chests, but reduces if party members have already cleared.
- Token Income: Books/manifestos earned per week used to purchase gear.
- Bad Luck Protection: A boost factor to account for token purchases filling gaps.
Methodology
Our model assumes a standard 8-player static distribution. "Effective pieces" includes both direct drops and gear purchased with tokens. The "Bad Luck Protection" boost estimates the efficiency gain from being able to target specific slots with tokens, preventing wasted drops on already-geared slots.
Token Economy & Assumptions
We value tokens based on the average cost of gear pieces (Head/Hands/Feet = 4, Legs/Chest = 8, Accessories = 3). The default "Token cost per gear" averages these out based on typical BiS needs. This allows us to convert token income into "effective gear pieces" for the timeline projection.

Can I change the number of Dawntrail floors?
Yes. Set any number of floors per week, including partial clears when a static stalls on floor three.
How do bonus coffers factor in?
Enter them in the Bonus Coffer field. The calculator adds them to the drop pool and reflects the faster ETA immediately.
Do pity tokens work differently when restrictions lift?
Switch the bad luck boost slider to simulate unlocked loot or double token weeks after patch x.1.
Can I export the timeline?
Use the print/export button to save a PDF or screenshot for Discord announcements.
Why do you include EV math for a timeline?
Because probability matters when planning BiS completion. We cite Glossary and Methodology entries so the math is transparent.
